Specialist in Neurology
The Department of Neurology at Landspitali - The National University Hospital of Iceland is seeking a specialist in neurology with expertise in neurophysiology and experience in performing and interpreting electroneurography (ENG), electromyography (EMG), and electroencephalography (EEG).
The Neurology Department is staffed by a strong team of specialists working in a multidisciplinary environment and in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The position is full-time (100%) and is available immediately or as agreed upon.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and interpret ENG, EMG, and EEG studies in accordance with clinical and technical standards
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals in diagnostics and treatment planning
QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical license as a specialist in neurology with a subspecialty in neurophysiology or equivalent
- Experience in performing and interpreting ENG, EMG, and EEG
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work in English and/or Icelandic in a professional healthcare environment

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION AND APPLICATION:
A full-time position at the hospital is on offer. Salary according to the current collective agreement concluded by the Minister of Finance and the Economy and the Medical Association of Iceland.
